RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Elisa Di Bianco, 92, of Rutherford, died Sept. 10. She was 92.
She was born in Avellino, Italy and came to America in 1961 to start a new life.
She was a tireless worker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She originally was a seamstress, and was one truly amazing cook.
She was predeceased by her husband, Genuino (Gino).
She is survived by her children, Carmine and Angelica Di Bianco, Antoinette and her husband Tom Gallitano, Ettore (Ed) and his wife Janice, Michael and his wife Lauri; grandchildren, Gino Di Bianco and his wife Chrissie, Michael, Erica and her husband Adam Lipkin, Stephen and his wife Kaitlyn, Elisa, Chazz and Alex; and great-grandchildren, Charlie, Gina and Luca.
There will be a funeral at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Macagna-Diffily-Onorato Funeral Home 41 Ames Ave., Rutherford, thence to St. Mary RC Church, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford, where a funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. Family and friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
