Edward M. Zieleniewski, 69, Longtime Carlstadt Resident

CARLSTADT, N.J. — Longtime Carlstadt resident Edward M. Zieleniewski died Monday, May 2.

Zieleniewski served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart Award. 

He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church. 

For more than 25 years, he was a mechanic and proprietor of E.Z. Truck Service Inc. in Passaic. 

Zieleniewski is survived by wife Mary (Stoltz) Zieleniewski; son, Edward M. Zieleniewski Jr.; daughter Christine Rizzi; and granddaughter Sarah Rizzi. He also is survived by brothers Michael Zieleniewski and his wife Carol, John Zieleniewski and his wife Susan and Richard Zieleniewski and his wife Lalita; along with many nieces and nephews.
