He writes a continuing column “History Chest” for the South Bergenite newspaper and his work in historic preservation includes the expansion of the Ridge Road Historic District.
He also conducts tours of historic homes and sites in the area surrounding the home of William Carlos Williams and has worked on the preservation of the Dickinson Mansion, residence of Fairleigh Dickinson.
Leith continues to make possible an indelible historic preservation footprint in Rutherford and in Bergen County.
The Meadowlands Museum welcomes hundreds of children and adults, helping them connect to the historical and cultural sense of place that is the Meadowlands region.
The Meadowlands Museum is located at 91 Crane Avenue, Rutherford, near the intersection of Routes 3 and 17. It's open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
