RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Rutherford Planning Board agreed to send an amended redevelopment plan for Agnew Place to the mayor and borough council on Thursday, May 19, according to NorthJersey.com.
Business owners and residents spoke out at the meeting, fearful that the borough would take their businesses via eminent domain. The amended plan would keep those businesses safe, NorthJersey.com reported.
The mayor and council will now make a decision on the amended plan, NorthJersey.com said.
