Steve Sharkey died on March 28 in a car accident, leaving behind a devastated family, two children and scores of friends, Simpson said.
Sharkey was a member of the Lowriders Motorcycle Club with Simpson.
"The Lowriders MC has launched this fund to help pay for funeral expenses and to help his son and daughter continue their educations," Simpson said.
