"It was a fun project," said Webelos Scout Adian. "Some things were a little bit difficult, like my wood splitting and the door hinge, but I liked how everyone cooperated and I hope it helps the town's birds."
"The bird houses were installed by the scouts and their parents at the Rutherford Community Teaching Garden and at Lincoln Woods," said John Hughes, founder and chair of Rutherford's Green Team. "The Garden is a certified National Wildlife and Bird Habitat.
"Thank you, scouts."
