The day camp is from June 29 through August 7. It's open to Rutherford kids from 3 years old through eighth grade. The camp includes six weeks of arts and crafts, special events, and theme days, and all campers receive two t-shirts.
Kinder Camp -- potty-trained 3-year-olds (as of June 27) through first grade (as of Oct. 1, 2016) -- at the Tamblyn Field Civic Center -- Three-year-olds must do the half-day program, for $217.50. The morning session is from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and the afternoon session is from 12-3:30 p.m. The full-day program is $435, and is Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Junior Camp -- second through fifth grades (as of September 2016) -- at Washington School -- This full-day program is from Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and is $435.
Senior Camp -- sixth through eighth grade (as of September 2016) -- at Memorial Park -- This full-day program is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and it's $200.
There are four trips a week for seniors. They leave at 9:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, and lunch is provided on most trips.
Day trips are offered to kinder, junior and senior campers for additional fees. Trips are first-come, first-serve; there are limited reservations. Transportation is available for junior campers, for an additional $75 per camper. Aftercare until 6 p.m. is also available for an additional fee.
