Meet other women in the industry and hear from guest speakers, Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle, Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin and Freeholder Tracy Zur.
The event takes place from 6-9 p.m. at MWW Group, 1 Meadowlands Plaza, East Rutherford.
Less than 25 percent of elected officials consist of women. Architects are statistically similar, with only about 15-18 percent of licensed architects being women, resulting in a workforce that is disproportionately male.
The interactive discussion with these two elected officials, along with some of the state’s most prominent female architects, will include topics such as breaking barriers, work life balance and advice for advancement.
