ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Englewood Hospital and Medical Center will host the annual “Heart and Soul Music Fest” Friday, Feb. 26 in celebration of Black History Month and American Heart Month.
Attendees are invited to enjoy an evening of education and entertainment as the medical center celebrates the African-American heritage through music, the arts and healing. The event will kick off with a buffet dinner, one-on-one conversations with physicians and a tour through the center’s “virtual heart unit.”
Afterwards, participants will celebrate Black History Month with gospel, R&B, jazz and hip-hop performances, followed by the Community Leadership Awards ceremony.
Featured guests and performers will include WLIB/WBLS radio personality Liz Black, Dave James, Scott Ferguson, hip-hop group NBF, R&B group RIFF, and Charisa the Violin Diva.
