The event promises to be fun and “eggucational.” Do you know what our first President George Washington‘s occupation was before he became the president? Do you know when Washington, D.C. was declared the nation’s capital? You can become the expert on all this and more American history if you attend the event.

Founded in 1961 with the goal of connecting school children with their community, the Meadowlands Museum continues the work that began with that single inspiration. The museum welcomes hundreds of children and adults, helping them connect to the historical and cultural sense of place that is the Meadowlands region.

The museum is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.To learn more, visit http://meadowlandsmuseum.com/.

The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Meadowlands Museum is at 91 Crane Avenue, Rutherford, near the intersection of Routes 3 and 17.
