The Meadowlands Museum, 91 Crane Ave., Rutherford, cordially invites you to its August Days program beginning Aug. 3. The will be for three consecutive Wednesdays -- Aug. 3, 10 and 17, each with two sessions. The morning session is from 10 a.m. to noon and the afternoon session is from 1-3 p.m.

Come in from the heat, have fun with us, learn about the area’s history and create something of which you can be proud. Each year, the museum welcomes hundreds of children and adults, helping them connect to the historical and cultural sense of place that is the Meadowlands region. Founded in 1961 to connect school children with their community, the museum continues the work that began with that single inspiration.

The museum is at the intersections of routes 3 and 17. It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
