The 2016 New Jersey Walk to Cure Arthritis takes place Saturday at MetLife Stadium with registration opening at 7:30 a.m., the opening ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the walk starting at 9 a.m.
The goal of the event is to increase arthritis awareness and raise money for research to find a cure.
The Arthritis Foundation is partnering with NBC4, Telemundo47 and The New York Giants Health and Fitness Expo.
The event has both a three-mile and one-mile course, with arthritis information and family-themed activities throughout.
Zip lining and scuba diving will be featured at the walk, which will offer the opportunity to meet New York Giants players.
The walk will be led by former New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford.
