This event blends shadow puppets, animation and projections performed by the PuppeTree’s founder Ann Legunn. A visual and musical treat, “Swimmy” features a classical music score that takes the audience into the undersea world and introduces children to the work of Debussy.
A companion piece, “Swimer,” will also be presented. “Swimmer,” with an original music score, tells the story of a young girl fighting to save her beloved New England river from the threat of pollution.
Children ages 4 and up with their families are invited to attend this puppet show. No registration is required. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Rutherford.
