Restoration Of Rutherford's Williams Center Could Cost $8.6 Million

RUTHERFORD, N.Y. -- The Newman Theater in Rutherford could make a comeback based on an engineering study done on the Williams Center for the Performing Arts putting the cost at $8.6 million, according to NorthJersey.com.

The price to render the Newman Theater "safe again" is $2.2 million, the study determined, said the NorthJersey.com report.

The ceiling renewal cost would be $4,061,000, and seat replacements, along with carpet, sound, lighting, and stage rigging expenses would amount to $2,420,000 or $8,681,000 in total, reported NorthJersey.com.
