According to its website, Bungalow Beauty Bar & Boutique is a full-service hair salon and boutique that was founded by Cassi Hurd-Vargas, a Rutherford local and an Emmy-nominated hairstylist.

Readers' Choice voters have praised the salon for its talented hairstylists and welcoming atmosphere.

The 2024 Daily Voice Readers' Choice contest to name the Best of the Best in Bergen County began with reader nominations in October and ended with a voting period for finalists in 80+ categories in December.
