Rain, Snow, Sleet To Make Monday Slippery In Bergen, Passaic

Light snow was expected to begin Monday afternoon and continue through the evening in North Jersey before turning to freezing rain -- with a tenth of an inch of ice possible.

Road conditions were expected to be hazardous in some areas.

A National Weather Service winter weather advisory remained in effect until midnight. Up to an inch or so of snow could fall.

Tuesday temperatures were expected to climb intto the 50s.
