The warning is in effect from 6 a.m. Saturday through 1 p.m. Sunday. Between 5-9 inches of snow is expected, along with high winds.
Parking is prohibited on all Village of Ridgewood streets from midnight Friday through noon Sunday.
Officials are asking residents to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary and to stay away from downed trees and power lines.
Keep fire hydrants and intersections clear of snow and debris. Residents should only call 911 for life-threatening emergencies.
