Witnesses said both drivers were fighting in the street at Soldier Hill Road and Forest Avenue when one grabbed the tire iron and struck the other. They said he then got back into his 1999 Jeep Cherokee and took off. Moments after the license plate was broadcast, Oradell police found the SUV parked in a driveway in the 100 block of Kinderkamack Road at New Milford Avenue and made the arrest. Lodi Police Seek Hit-Run Driver What began as an argument between two drivers in Lodi ended when one had his foot run over by the other's fleeing vehicle, authorities said. The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. Wednesday at Terhune Avenue and Marion Pepe Drive near Lodi Lanes, Lt. Robert Salerno said. Although the license plate of the fleeing SUV came to an East Orange owner, it didn't match any of the vehicle information, he said.
