NEW Details: Missing NJ State Park Hiker Found In Rockland, Thanks To Facebook, Ring 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A 63-year-old hiker from Wayne who'd gone missing in Ringwood State Park was found a few miles away the next day across the state line in Rockland County, authorities said. Police say they can thank Ring and Facebook. Carol Fumiko Heimbach was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern after she was located in Sloatsburg around 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, said Caryn Shinske, the senior press officer for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Covid-19: Another Staff Member Tests Positive At Park Ridge High School A second faculty member has tested positive for COVID-19 at a Bergen County high school that closed last week due to a different positive case among employees. A non-teaching staff member at the Park Ridge Junior-Senior High School returned a positive Oct. 13. On Oct. 19, the community received an update saying the test was a lab-confirmed positive. Police: Ramapo Lobster Tail Thief Caught In Mahwah MAHWAH, N.J. – A transient admitted stashing a safe and several cases of lobster tails stolen from a Ramapo seafood store at a Mahwah home, said authorities who arrested him. Clark Judge, 49, cut himself breaking a window at J&R Lobster and Seafood in a Route 59 strip mall, leaving blood behind, while taking the tails and the safe, with $500 inside, authorities said.
