Thief Found Dangling, Moaning From PA Power Tower: Reports
The man found moaning and dangling from a power line tower in Pennsylvania Friday, Nov. 4 was trying to steal wire when he suffered an electric shock so powerful that it threw him from his perch, authorities told various news outlets. The man was cutting 100 feet of wire from the top of a tower that he'd secured himself to in Plainfield Township, when he suffered an arc that traveled across his upper body, throwing him about 20 or 30 feet down the pole, police told WFMZ. PA Man Strangled By Pet Snake Shot By Police Dies Days Later
A Pennsylvania man who was strangled by his pet snake has died days after the incident, authorities said. Elliot Senseman, 27, died from anoxic brain injury due to asphyxiation by constriction after an 18-foot Boa constrictor-type snake wrapped itself around the man's neck inside his Church Street home in Fogelsville (Upper Macungie Township) on Wednesday, July 20, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. PA Boy, 10, Shot, Killed During Thanksgiving Target Practice, DA Says
A 10-year-old Berks County boy was shot and killed during target practice on Thanksgiving Day, authorities said. Responders carried the boy out of the woods to an ambulance after he was shot near his home about 100 feet off Chestnut Street in Hereford Township around 1:30 p.m., they said. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest near Allentown, where he was pronounced dead.
