: Black-Hooded White-Capped Robber In Surgical Mask Flees Fair Lawn Bank
UPDATE: A black-hooded bandit in a white cap and blue surgical mask implied -- but didn't show -- a gun while robbing a Fair Lawn bank Tuesday morning, investigators said. The robber entered the Provident Bank at River Road and Hopper Avenue shortly before 10:30 a.m. July 11. He implied he had a weapon but no one saw one, law enforcement sources told Daily Voice. South Jersey Fugitive Busted With Heroin/Meth: Stafford Police
A 37-year-old man wanted on a warrant was arrested on the Jersey Shore on multiple drug charges involving methamphetamine and heroin, authorities said. On Sunday at approximately 5 p.m., Stafford police received a call in reference to suspicious activity at 1236 Grays Road in the Warren Grove section of Stafford Township. Police found John B. Sharpe, 37, of Galloway, who was wanted on a warrant from that township, Stafford police said. It was not clear what he was wanted for. : Bergen Homeowner Grabs Car Thief, 3 Others Captured In Multi-Agency Dragnet
Police from several agencies converged on the area and nabbed three juveniles after an Englewood Cliffs homeowner grabbed their companion and held him for officers, authorities said. The Allison Drive homeowner alerted police after the first thief had entered a car in his driveway shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, Detective Lt. Ronald F Waldt said. Authorities: Armed Civilian Report Unfounded, Hudson County Courthouse Lockdown Lifted
UPDATE: Authorities lifted a lockdown at the Hudson County courthouse in Jersey City Thursday afternoon, saying that a report that a civilian was spotted with a gun was unfounded. The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that K-9 and SWAT units responded. The lockdown at the Newark Avenue complex lasted nearly two hours after the 2:15 p.m. report.

Full Spit-And-Polish Funeral Set For Passaic County Sheriff's K-9 Leo
The highest level of respect for an officer who gave up his or her life in the line of duty will be paid to Passaic County Sheriff's K-9 Leo, who died Wednesday. Shoes will be shined and hair tucked beneath hats as officers in Class A uniforms assemble for what's known as muster the morning of April 3.
