Overnight Fire Doused At $2M Fort Lee Home Fort Lee firefighters doused an overnight house blaze. The fire in the $2 million, 4,600-square-foot single-family home on Briar Way at the corner of Virginia Avenue went to two alarms after breaking out around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, responders said. Firefighters had it under control within an hour and a half. Fire officials were investigating.
