First responders in Saddle Brook teamed up to rescue a wireless communication company employee who passed out on the roof of the new township municipal complex. The Regional Communications worker was handling some equipment maintenance when he lost consciousness shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, said Capt. John A. A driver was extricated after a pickup truck was rammed by a late-night commuter train in Hackensack. City firefighters cut the top off the Honda Ridgeline's cab after it was struck by the NJ TRANSIT Pascack Valley Line train No. 2133 at the Central Avenue crossing at 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. Emergency crews in Sussex County came to the rescue of an unconscious woman who was found bleeding in her driveway. The Lakeland Emergency Squad responded to the Forrest Lakes section of Byram on Monday, July 25, the department said. Upon arrival, crew members found the victim unconscious and bleeding and determined that she was suffering life-threatening injuries. Atlantic Air One medical helicopter was called to take the woman to Morristown Medical Center for treatment. The initial cause of the woman’s injuries were not immediately clear. Trapped Driver Flown To Hospital Following Hunterdon County Crash: State Police
A trapped driver was extricated and flown to a nearby hospital following a serious crash in Hunterdon County, state police confirmed. Officers responding to the crash on Dutch Lane in East Amwell Township found that a Jeep Wrangler had overturned and trapped the driver just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, NJSP SFC Lawrence Peele told DailyVoice.com. The driver was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Peele said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

One victim was extricated from a crumpled car and taken to a nearby hospital following a serious Sussex County crash, authorities said. The Hampton Township Fire & Rescue squad responded to the crash at the intersection of Route 206 and Cherry Lane the night of Thursday, May 5, the department said. Crews worked to extricate multiple victims before one was turned over to an ambulance for hospitalization, the rescue squad said. The scene was cleared about an hour later. A trapped driver had to be rescued and taken to a nearby hospital following a rollover crash in Morris County, authorities said. The Dover Fire Department responded to the crash scene and found the driver trapped in a car that had flipped onto its side on Route 46 on Wednesday, April 27, the company said in a Monday release. Emergency crews used cribbing and struts to safely extricate the driver, who was then turned over to an ambulance to be taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Paterson Woman Rescued From Clothing Donation Bin Says She Was Trapped For 2½ Days
Paterson firefighters on Monday rescued a woman who said she’d been trapped in a clothing donation bin since Friday night. The 38-year-old apparently homeless woman claimed that she was reaching into the bin behind a Broadway apartment building when someone pushed her, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.
