A historic North Jersey cemetery was brutally vandalized overnight Sunday. The Orchard Street Cemetery in Dover posted about the incident on its Facebook page Monday evening: “It’s a very sad day for Orchard Street Cemetery,” the post begins. “…The cemetery grounds were vandalized. Man's Body Found On Morris County Sidewalk
Authorities in Morris County are investigating after a man's body was found on a local street Sunday. The unidentified man was found lying on the sidewalk of West Blackwell Street and Randolph Avenue in Dover around 7:40 a.m., Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. A person of interest has been identified, Carroll said alongside Chief of Detectives Christoph Kimker, Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, and Dover Police Department Chief Jonathan Delaney. A 21-year-old Wharton man was arrested for threatening multiple people with a handgun across Morris County, authorities announced Sunday. Steven Retana was arrested in Morris Township Saturday and charged with terroristic threats and weapon-related offenses stemming from incidents on May 10 and 21, Acting Prosecutor Robert J. Authorities ID Woman Struck, Killed By Train In Morristown
Authorities have identified the woman struck and killed by a train early Monday in Morris County. Jane B. Siegel, 61, of Morristown, was struck on Kahn Road between Convent Station and Morristown by Morris & Essex Line train 6602 around 4:40 a.m., NJ Transit spokeswoman Mariluz Garcia-Diaz said. A 30-year-old Morris County man was waiting outside a 15-year-old boy's home while having sexual phone and internet conversations with him, authorities charged Tuesday. Michael A. Holdnak of Dover had sexually-charged phone and social media discussions with the minor between Sunday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 28, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M.
