New Jersey teams didn't make it to the  Super Bowl this year, but some athletes are giving Bergen and Passaic locals plenty of reason to cheer.

Chris Hogan: The New England Patriot's wide receiver got his start on Wyckoff turf. He played football and lacrosse for Ramapo High School and was the first-team All-New Jersey performer as a junior and senior in lacrosse, and an all-state first teamer as a senior in football.

Devin Fuller: Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver Devin Fuller won't be on the field on Super Bowl Sunday (he was put on injured reserve over the summer, just before the official start of the season due to a shoulder injury). Fuller was born in Englewood but went on to play football for Northern Valley Old Tappan when he lived in Norwood. He led the team to back to back state championship appearances as a junior and senior.

Dan Graziano: ESPN's Dan Graziano and former Ridgewood dad will be reporting live from the Super Bowl. He was named a National NFL Insider in July 2016 and contributes to NFL Insiders, NFL Live, SportsCenter, ESPN Radio, and ESPN The Magazine. Follow him on Twitter, @DanGrazianoESPN!

Matt Sims: The Falcons' quarterback grew up in Franklin Lakes and played  for Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey. He passed for more than 6,000 yards and 60 touchdowns at Bosco, and went on to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl after his senior year.

Gren Olsen: Wayne's Greg Olsen is a finalist for the NFL's "Man of the Year" award, which will be announced on Saturday evening.

Eli Manning: Eli Manning of the New York Giants, who play in MetLife Stadium, is also a finalist for the "Man of the Year" award. Much of his work with Tackle Kids Cancer aids pediatric cancer patients in Hackensack University Medical Center.
