Sixth-grader Isabella Harelick requested the donation from the hospital.

The drive, which spanned only a week's time, surpassed its goal of collecting 2,000 pairs of socks for residents of Covenant House.

The school's involvement came after Ridgewood High School accepted the "Rock your Socks" challenge and pledged 1,750 pairs of new socks, and in return challenged BFMS.
