Ridgewood Middle School Honors Veterans During Spirit Week

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood's Benjamin Franklin Middle School observed its 11th annual Spirit Week from April 4-8, and honoring the military was a feature.

Students and staff participated in Wii Care Wednesday. Students wore camouflage and homemade dog tags, bearing names of current or past soldiers.

Also, each homeroom made a care package for soldiers currently serving abroad: 33 care packages will be sent to soldiers from local families. Bob Paoli, from Ridgewood American Legion Post 53, will deliver some of the care packages.
