Utility crews break Ridgewood water main, street closed indefinitely

The street remained closed in both directions indefinitely.

“No one should be without water according to system maps,” a water company supervisor on the scene told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The representative said the size of the break and how long it will take to repair it couldn’t be determined until crew exposed it in preparation for repair.

A nearby resident who came over to view the damage said water pressure at his home was very low.
