Ridgewood responders free dog’s paw from treadmill

ONLY ON CVP: Ridgewood emergency responders freed a terrier whose paw got caught in a treadmill late this morning.

The North Murray Avenue homeowner was bitten trying to free the dog but declined hospitalization after police and firefighters responded around 11 a.m., Police Chief John Ward told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The dog was fine, he said.

The terrier’s rear paw was stuck between the tread roller and the side rail, so responders loosened the rail.
