Nicholas Sunday, who currently lives in Prospect Park, posted $25,000 bail and was released after surrendering to village police over the weekend, Ridgewood Police Chief John Ward told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.

A court-ordered search of computers and electronic devices seized from the Ridgewood home where the mid-October incident occurred turned up the video, Ward said.

Police also found evidence during an extensive search of the area surrounding the house after Sunday fled on Oct. 18, the chief said (see photos).

Police received several calls from the Brookside Avenue residence once the bathroom cam was discovered — an incident that sent the suspect to The Valley Hospital with chest pains after he ran, law enforcement sources told CLIFFVIEW PILOT at the time.

The PILOT withheld news of the incident pending the arrest.
