Mark McGuire, 53, was charged with unauthorized practice of law after changing his claim to being a paralegal, village Detective Chris McDowell told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Detective Peter Youngberg made the discovery while investigating an assault involving the Lauritas, of Franklin Lakes, fellow cast member Giuseppe “Joe” Gorga and John Karagiorgis of Paramus at a village salon.

McDowell said McGuire “had represented himself as an attorney for the defendants” during April interviews with police following a brawl that broke out at a pre-grand opening at the East Ridgewood Avenue between the trio and Karagiorgis, as cameras for the Bravo TV series rolled.

Karagiorgis said Jacqueline Laurita conked him in the head with a stiletto heel, while Gorga — the brother of cast member Teresa Giudice — punched him in the left eye and nose, injuring him.

Gorga and the Lauritas filed counterclaims against Karagiorgis.

McGuire was released pending a first appearance in Ridgewood Municipal Court.

The rest are due in court Sept. 26.
