Mason Corliss, 18, was charged with purposefully possessing an explosive device, as well as with having marijuana for sale, when he was arrested along with 19-year-old Erdet Kaba and a 17-year-old boy on Olivia Street earlier this month, Police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke told Daily Voice on Wednesday.

Kaba was charged with pot possession as well as obstruction of justice when he "refused to respond to commands and pushed an officer," Luthcke said.

The juvenile was released to a parent and both Corliss and Kaba were issued court appearance summonses, the chief said.
