Port Authority officer grabs two restaurant workers assaulting patron with stun gun

BEYOND BERGEN: Two employees of a midtown Manhattan restaurant attacked a customer with a stun gun after he complained of being stiffed on his change before Port Authority police said an officer intervened and arrested both men.

Officer Katherine Acevedo saw the pair assaulting the 35-year-old victim, punching him in the face and mouth and burning him on the back of his neck with a stun gun, on 9th Avenue around 9:30 last night, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said this afternoon.

Both took off when they saw her approaching, but Acevedo grabbed them a short distance away.

The victim was taken to Health Plex Hospital with bruises on his face, cuts on his cheek and the neck burn.

Arrested on assault and illegal weapons possession charges were Gary Zheng, 37, and Robert Zheng, 41.
