Alert and walking around, the motorcyclist refused ambulance transportation to the hospital after the crash in the 200 block of Union Street just before 6 p.m.
He was able to drive the cycle away.
A towing service tended to a flat tire on the Acura.
Reponding were Ridgewood police and EMS workers and a paramedic unit from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
