Girl, 10, Hit By Car In Ridgewood

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- A 10-year-old girl was hospitalized after being struck by a car Monday afternoon in Ridgewood.

The girl was taken to The Valley Hospital with what responders said were non-critical injuries.

The girl sustained non-critical facial and knee injuries in the crash at the intersection of Fairway Road and Northern Parkway just after 3 p.m., responders at the scene said.

Ridgewood police, firefighters and EMS responded. The girl was taken to The Valley Hospital.

Police were investigating.
