Fairview building worker charged with sexually touching, hitting girl, 10

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Fairview man is accused of sexually abusing and then smacking a 10-year-old girl, putting him behind bars on $150,000 bail pending a court hearing.

Fairview police and investigators from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit arrested 48-year-old Jose Juarez-Roca yesterday after police were notified.

Juarez-Roca, a maintenance worker in the Day Avenue building where he lives, is charged with sexual assault and child endangerment, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said this afternoon.

He has a Municipal Court appearance set for tomorrow afternoon in Fairview. Meanwhile, he remains held in the Bergen County Jail.
