Ridgewood PD Patrol Officer Paul Dinice helped comfort the boys by giving them each toy replicas of police badges following the crash at the intersection of Dayton Street and South Maple Avenue.

The driver of the other SUV also walked away unharmed.

However, both vehicles had to be towed from the scene by flatbed tow trucks.

Ridgewood Police Sgt. Peter Bolton provided traffic control assistance.
