Driver OK after car rams tree in Ridgewood

ONLY ON CVP: A motorist escaped injury after she lost control of her white Nissan Altima and it hit a tree in Ridgewood overnight.

The woman was alone when the crash occurred at 1:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Kensington Drive, causing heavy front-end damage.

Ridgewood police who responded said the driver may have swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
