Driver, 17, Accidentally Rams Car Into Ridgewood Ben & Jerry's

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- A 17-year-old River Edge girl parking her car Thursday afternoon inadvertently hit the gas instead of the brake, crashing it into the Ben & Jerry's on Franklin Avenue in Ridgewood, police said.

No one was injured in the 1:30 p.m. mishap, which damaged the car and the building, Police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke told Daily Voice.
