The first time, on Sunday, the store manager told police two men grabbed seven bottles and then put them in grocery bags that they hid under their shirts before walking out.

They took off in a late-model silver Nissan Altima, according to Ridgewood Police Detective Douglas Williams.

The same two men apparently hit a Franklin Avenue grocery store, as well, he said.

In addition, Williams said, Stop & Shop store management told police that a woman pulled the same stunt three separate times — April 23, April 27 and May 3 — taking 20 bottles in all as soon as the store clerk wasn’t looking.

She apparently left in the dark vehicle pictured.
