No injuries were reported after a Mazda and a commercial van collided at the intersection of South Walnut Street and East Ridgewood Avenue, although village firefighters had to clean up a minor fluid spill.
While there, they also helped get the van out of the intersection so that a flatbed tow truck could remove the sedan.
A second tow truck removed the van.
Police said they issued a summons, although it was unclear to which driver.
