Officers who searched the area of Church and Massey streets yesterday didn’t find anything, Capt. Donald Scorzetti said.
The boy said he was riding his bicycle to a friend’s house when the stranger — whom he described as 40 to 50 years with a beard and wearing a grey tank top — drove up in an older, Navy blue van.
He said he declined the man’s offer and left the area.
