RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Rudolph P. Vaccari of Ridgewood, and Nantucket, Massachusetts died on Friday, Jan. 8. He was 89.
A graduate of St. Agnes High School in New York City, he worked in his family business, Piccinini Brothers. He was an avid surf fisherman and enjoyed time with his family on Nantucket.
He is survived by his wife, Marion (Covi) of Ridgewood; his sons, Richard of Franklin Lakes, Paul (Sylvie) of Manhattan and Peter (Pamela) of Ho-Ho-Kus; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Erica, Mariana, Braden and Matthew. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Lynn Vaccari.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan.13, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Ridgewood. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Our Lady of the Isle, Federal Street, Nantucket, Massachusetts or the Wyckoff Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
