RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – Mary Albano, a resident of Ridgewood, died Friday, April 15. She was 102.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and lived in Ridgewood the past 43 years.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Ridgewood, and was a member of the “Hilt” for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Annette Matonti and her husband Louis of Ridgewood; daughter-in-law, Kathleen (Blossfeld) Albano of Waldwick; grandchildren John Albano and his wife Lorraine, Louis Matonti, James Albano and his wife Patrice, Michael Matonti, Mary Ann Lupo and her husband Ron and Jeannine Rowell and her husband David; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters from Glen Rock.
She was predeceased by her husband, James; and a son, James.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Interment to follow at Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in her memory to the NJ Sharing Network, would be greatly appreciated.
