RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- James “Jay” D. Fraser, of Ridgewood, died Monday, Dec. 28. He was 63.
He was the husband of Megan (nee: Heffron), father of Christian, Maggie and Catherine, and son of Anne Fraser.
For more than three decades, he was the tennis and paddle tennis professional at the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club and Waldwick Covered Courts, and also was a paddle tennis professional for Wilson Paddle Tennis Camps.
He wrote a novel, ‘The Soul Stealer." He also started his own exercise business named Heart Core Tennis.
A Celebration of Jay's Life will be Tuesday, Jan. 5, from 3–7 p.m. at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Ridgewood. Cremation will be private.
