RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – Adam William Marquard, of Ridgewood, died Thursday, March 17 of lymphoma at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was 25.
He was born in Ridgewood, attended Ridgewood Public Schools and graduated from Ridgewood High School in 2009. He was a member of the cross country and track teams.
At the time of his diagnosis, he was studying audio engineering at Frederick Community College in Frederick, Md. He was passionate about music and performed many songs of his own composition and produced some of his own music videos. Extremely insightful and artistic, he wrote short stories and was a very talented sketcher.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Lee Ann; brother, Jason; and twin sisters, Kendall and Courtney.
A viewing will be conducted from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Feeney’s Funeral Home, Ridgewood. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
