KILLING: Gas attendant Ruskin Magamedov, 57, of Fair Lawn, was pronounced dead at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center after he was shot Monday night while working at 1st Ave Gas on Route 20 in Paterson.

BERGENFIELD BODIES: The wife of a Bergenfield man who didn’t report his Christmas disappearance to police for a week was charged with disposing of his remains in six plastic containers found earlier this month in South Jersey.

CANCER: A community was rallying around a single mom of four kids from River Edge who was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer.

HOCKEY: The Oakland ice hockey community remembered Michael Altana, who passed away at just 14, when his parents were presented with an Indian Hills Braves jersey with their son’s name and the number 45 – his longtime hockey number.
