Public Service Begins Overhead Utility Work in Ridgewood

RIDGEWOOD, N.J.–Public Service Enterprise Group (PSE&G) will be completing overhead construction activities in Ridgewood over the coming months as part of the Energy Strong electric improvements.

Two new circuits were being installed to improve reliability and convert some of the existing service.

The work was expected to be complete in September, weather permitting.

PSE&G crews will be working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. at:

Maple Avenue from Cameron Lane to Mastin Place

Mastin Place from Maple Avenue to Walnut Street

Walnut Street from Mastin Place to Franklin Ave

Broad Street - Hudson Street to Dean Street

Doremus Avenue - Orchard Place to Ackerman Avenue.

Traffic control officers will be directing traffic and assisting pedestrians at active work sites.
