Paving Temporarily Shuts Parts Of Route 208 Weeknights

Parts of Route 208 will be temporarily closed in several Bergen and Passaic municipalities from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, May 2.

Parts of Route 208 will be closed on weeknights beginning May 2 for a $3.8 milling and paving project.

Milling and resurfacing by NJDOT's contractor Asphalt Paving System will shut the highway's northbound lane through sections of Hawthorne, Glen Rock, Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes and Oakland.

The $3.8 million federally-funded resurfacing project is expected to be completed by fall 2016, a press release says.
