Police headlined Bergen County news this past week, with drug arrests, car crashes and even a death threat against President Barack Obama. Here are some of the Daily Voice's top stories of the week.

Fair Lawn police interrupted an alleged home invasion after an alert neighbor flagged cops down and pointed them in the direction of suspicious vehicle. A 1996 Ford Explorer was parked nearby "for an extended period of time," Sgt. Brian Metzler said.

An undercover sting operation led to the arrest by Elmwood Park police of four people on various drug charges. Police Chief Michael Folign told us a pit bull found in the home was turned over to animal control officers, raising the possibility of cruelty charges.
